Heartland Cafe is owned by an organic farmer.  Tom has owned and operated Earth First Farms in Berrien Center, MI since 2005.  He provides fresh, healthy certified organic produce in season to the restaurant, the Heartland Market, several farm markets in the city, through an apple-only CSA to over 500 members and on farm at the popular Earth First Farms apple upick.
